Description of the project

It is a fact that global warming has become a threat to every individual. The average surface air temperature has risen and is warming at a much faster rate than it warmed over the 7,000 years due largely to the burning of fossil fuels, which results in worsening in biodiversity, oceans, human health and weather and is directly linked to the increase of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, which leads to global changes in precipitation, snow, ice extent, and extreme weather, such as heavy rains, heat waves, and severe storms. These global problems require solution at the global level. It is only through the combined efforts of the people of this planet that we can, if not fully solve, at least, minimize these environmental problems. So, the EU has launched 2020, 2030 and 2050 energy and climate packages to decrease CO2 emissions and single use plastic, encouraging renewable energy. With our project "HELP the Earth" we want the young to make remarkable records of success in an ideal world to reduce global warming with deceleration of unnecesarry mass production, mass consumption and mass disposal by learning and applying the principles of reducing, reusing, recycling, upcycling and downcycling. The problem is that ‘cleaning up’ really just means moving the rubbish to where we can’t see it. We suggest actions might be taught within a taxonomic framework of reduction, recyclying, replacement and raising awareness with carefully designed workshops, activities, exhibitions and events as we don’t want our kids just to be consumers of amazing thing.
